NoiseLevel provides a unique approach to measuring ambient sounds. With this app, users can gauge the sound level of various sources, from music and playful children to the work environment.

Employing the iPhone's built-in microphone, NoiseLevel captures audio inputs and presents them in decibels (dB) on a status bar located at the bottom of the main screen.

Furthermore, sound levels are visually depicted through an interactive balloon that adjusts in size and color based on the volume registered. Witness the balloon burst at elevated sound intensities or trigger its rupture with a sharp noise, like clapping hands, encouraging users to engage in hands-on exploration.

For optimal accuracy, align the iPhone's microphone directly towards the sound origin, prompting the screen to rotate accordingly.

Disclaimer: While NoiseLevel offers reliable measurements, it should not substitute for professional sound level meters. The iPhone's microphone can solely detect values between 35 to 110 dB, with potential variations between device models.
